About Meg.

In 2012, Meg’s professional grooming journey began at a corporate grooming salon in northern Virginia. Meg quickly discovered house-call grooming and started their first business called Paws of Love. After moving to central Florida in 2017, Meg opened and ran Lovely Paws Grooming successfully for four years. While house-call in Florida, Meg started grooming cats. In early 2021, Meg achieved the prestigious title of Certified Feline Master Groomer. Later in 2021, Meg moved to northwest Washington and groomed dogs and cats in a mobile van. During that time, they began their rabbit grooming training. Meg is a Rabbit Groomer which is level 2 of 4 in the only rabbit grooming program ever created. Soon, they will test to achieve level 3 – Certified Rabbit Groomer. Meg currently competes in model dog competitions and won First Place in their category in August 2024.

Meg is now a partner of the Meditative Groomer Academy, a holistic grooming school in Racine, Wisconsin that caters to neurodivergent individuals. Meg offers one-on-one salon grooming at the Academy and house call services to Racine and surrounding areas.

Meg is a Certified Pet Tech Instructor and has taught the lifesaving skills of pet CPR and first aid all around the United States. They also teach a 5 part social media masterclass, available both self-paced and live. Meg travels to many of the pet grooming conventions hosted around the country.

Meg married the love of their life, Joe, in 2017 and they have two small dogs together, Duke and Duchess. You can find this family hiking and exploring everywhere they travel. They recently spent a year living out of their SUV traveling the country full-time. Check the Updates page to find out where Meg will be next!
